Comments about General Cage Premium Line Dog Crate Two Door:
Had a smaller USA made crate loaned to me by my breeder, but my terrier had out grown it. In selecting brand/model KEY for me was USA manufacture and quality. The steel on the 204-2D is a little thinner than the the other manufacture's model (which seems impossible to find, more expensive and most likely heavier). However there are several features on the 204-2D that I like better:
-front and side door for room placement flexibility (especially helpful during travel)
-three handles (one on each side for moving while crate set-up + handle when in "suitcase" mode)
-easy to fold down (instructions by General could be better for first time user)
-metal pan doesn't have to be taken out of crate during fold-down process, and brackets hold plan in place when transporting, but allow easy removal for cleaning, etc.
-like the gold color (less likely to chip than black crates)
Very fast delivery. Arrived much quicker than the expected delivery time posted on web-site. The crate box had a different model # listed than what I ordered (which caused initial concern) but the shipping document clarified the difference. The correct product was delivered in good condition. I would definitely recommend Pet Crates Direct to others.

The crate is easy to set up and easy to pack up. It's heavy, but that's because it's big. The dog is happy with it and so are we.

Our two large male whippets never loved a crate as much as the two we have now. Spacious, well designed for home, travel and the office. We highly recommend this crate for any caring dog companion. Worth every dime spent. Can't say that very often these days.
