I like this exercise pen very much. I bout the 48 inch tall version and it works very well for my mastiff. Only drawback is that is has figured out that if he "noses" the door for a bit, the handle will sometimes come free and he can get out. Not a big deal, as I put a small bungee cord across it to make sure he can't get out. The door handles need to have a locking mechanism but I have yet to find a pen that has this feature.

Was easy to set up in friends home while visiting. Puppy was able to be with us in a strange home to her, remain safe and not be under foot.

I actually bought this to serve as an indoor fence to keep my dogs out of my kids play area. It is not as sturdy as the one I use elsewhere in the house, but it is also half the cost, so you get what you pay for. As a dog pen it works well to keep the dogs contained - they can't jump it which is good. But they can move it around if it is on a hard surface, like a hardwood floor.
In the end, it does what its supposed to and keeps my dogs contained and out of the kids play area.

I use this with the wire mesh top for foster kittens. They have to be big enough that they can't fit through the mesh but small enough that they need a smaller living area. I also use it for fostered kitties who are recuperating from surgery or injuries. It's a good height for cleaning. I put the black rollers on the bottom to prevent scratching the floor.

I use this crate for my 10 month old pom. He is for the most part housebroken but this way I know he won't get in to trouble when he has to be left alone for several hours.
